| Our Support for Good Causes |

David Sands stores lie at the heart of their communities. We employ local people, sell local products and serve over 170,000 local people each week.
We are committed to supporting local groups, charities, youth groups, clubs and any number of individuals as they raise money for good causes. This support is evenly spread across our store estate and each store location has a limited budget.

Our policy is to use collection boxes in each of our stores to support the following three charities:-
- Tayside Mountain Rescue
- Association for Cancer Research.
- Scottish Prostate Cancer Support Group.
Thanks to our customers we hope to donate over £8,000 to these charities this year. |

Right now three of our stores in Methilhill, Kennoway and Wellesley Rd , Methil are involved in a loyalty card scheme. Very simply customers are issued with a loyalty card and for every £1 spent in our stores, four points are added to their card. Once 1,500 points are collected we will donate £5 to Buckhaven High School Sports Teams. |

As you may know, we at David Sands have begun charging 2p per plastic bag. What you may not know is that we donate half the money raised to MacMillan Cancer Support Chairty. To find out how much we have raised so far click here.
