• Provide a high standard of customer care and service.
• Agree and meet sales targets by offering a full range of the required products.
• Control accurate levels of stock through purchase and replenishment.
• Responsible for maintaining stringent shrinkage and wastage control through control measures, ensuring loss levels are within company targets.
• Responsible for maintaining security of all stock, cash and shop premises.
• Ensure shop takings are banked daily in accordance with company banking procedures.
• Responsible for the management of staff hours / rota's ensuring the store is adequately staffed with the correct hours at the correct time of day.
• Supervise and motivate staff ensuring that they are fully aware of their responsibilities, the standards required from them and identify and assist with any training requirements.
• Responsible for the completion of all company administration and the report of work that must be submitted on time.
• Maintain good communications with shop staff, Store Controller and Head office staff.
• Follow all Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all fixtures and the shop premises to required standards and reporting of any problems to the Store Controller.
