Reporting directly to your Line Manager your main responsibility will be to supervise the Shop Staff in order to deliver a high standard of customer care ensuring a friendly and helpful service is provided at all times.
Key Tasks
To assist the manager in all systems and authorised procedures within the store.
Support the manager in ensuring that customers are provided with a high standard of customer care and service.
Support and assist the manager to achieve and surpass sales targets.
Assist the manager with all stock control procedures ensuring minimal shrinkage and wastage.
To maintain the security and well being of yourself and your colleagues whilst attending to your duties, as per company policy on Health & Safety at work following all Health& Safety procedures.
To maintain the highest standards of hygiene within the store.
Assist in the supervision and motivation of staff ensuring that they are fully aware of their responsibilities and the standards that are required of them.
Assist the Store manager where necessary in the recruitment of part time General
Assistants under his/her instruction and guidance.
Complete company administration and report work by specified times as directed by the manager or in his/her absence.
Assist the Manager in the training and development of staff in all aspects of their job.
Communicate effectively with your store staff and Store Controller.
Play an active role in ensuring the shop premises and shop fixtures are to the required standard.
